Balavihar

(5 – 12 years)

Give your kids the opportunity to learn about Hindu culture and spirituality.

Our classes provide spiritual and cultural orientation to children of the modern age. The uniqueness of our classes is that they are interwoven with authentic knowledge drawn from the vast gamut of Indian scripture and delivered by trained volunteers.

Through interactive learning methods like storytelling, games, activities, crafts, service projects, chanting and multimedia, we weave in this ancient knowledge to give children a clear understanding of the import of our scriptures and the meaning behind our practices. This depth of understanding of our scriptures and culture, and how to apply it to our modern, fast paced lives enriches children and helps them grow into well-rounded, culturally aware and morally grounded individuals.
