‘Chinmaya Yuva Kendra’ or CHYK UK is the youth wing of Chinmaya Mission UK. Swami Chinmayananda, the founder of Chinmaya Mission, always said it was far more relevant for young people to understand the purpose of life and how to live rather than contemplating life’s big questions in old age when life has largely passed us by.
CHYK exists for young adults navigating big questions. What am I working towards, how do I deal with stress, and what actually brings fulfilment. It offers a space to explore the timeless wisdom of the Gita and Upanishads in a way that feels practical, open and relevant, with no pressure to join, just an opportunity to learn, reflect and grow alongside others on a similar path.
